HOBBS AQUATIC CENTER – Hobbs, New Mexico – November 2011
The City of Hobbs has two parks, Del Norte and Heizer; each has a 120’ white open flume slide and a red 2 lane kiddie slide. The city maintenance staff could no longer bring back the wet look finish to the slides no matter how many times they polished and waxed the slides last year. The recreation director contacted SlideCare to see if there was anything on the market that could be applied to brighten the dull faded color and magnify the shine of their slides. SlideCare recommended their revolutionary Chlora Shield, a clear chlorine resistant gel-coat sealer that stops oxidation and brings back the WET LOOK SHINE to any waterslide no matter how old it is. Water Slide Solutions, SlideRenu certified applicator, applied Chlora Shield to all the interior surfaces of the slides and prepared a comprehensive inspection report for the city engineer. |

RAY TWINNEY RECREATION COMPLEX – Newmarket, Ontario – Canada – September 2011
The Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, www.newmarket.ca is a popular recreation facility in the Town of Newmarket that features a large indoor pool, diving well and a 145’ open body slide. Indoor water parks are “closed environments” and require more frequent maintenance than outdoor water parks. Chlorine and other pool chemicals when mixed with high levels of humidity quickly cause water slides and metal aquatic surfaces to lose color and become permanently oxidized. As the town maintenance staff found out, no amount of waxing could bring back the color so they appointed SlideCare to refinish the interior and exterior surfaces during their annual maintenance shutdown period. The town chose to re-theme the slide with their official town colors; blue for the exterior and green for the interior. SlidePros-CANADA, certified applicator located in Oshawa, Ontario, completed the renovation in approximately one week. |

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY – Hyattsville, Maryland – September 2011
Located in the Maryland suburbs east of Washington, DC, the Prince George County Parks & Recreation Department (www.pgparks.com) oversees 11 aquatic facilities. In an effort to reduce county-wide maintenance costs, five members of the aquatics department became Certified Applicator of SlideRenu® coatings. The two day training was conducted by George M. Fischer, President of SlideCare, and included hands-on and classroom instruction on a variety of water slide maintenance topics including, surface prep, coatings application, polishing, waxing, descaling, fiberglass repairs, joint sealing, etc. Over the course of two days, the attendees were able to refinish a 30’ one lane blue family slide with Color Shield and apply Chlora Shield, the only chlorine resistant gel-coat clear protective sealer in the aquatics industry, to two yellow 25’ kiddie slides. The Park & Recreation Department is putting together a Master Plan to prioritize the refinishing of the most severely oxidized water slides and aquatic play structures starting this Fall. |

AQUATIC PARK – The Colony, Texas – March 2011
Less than 5 years ago, The Colony purchased a multi-tier aquatic splash pod. Each year, the powder coating finish progressively continued to weather to a point where Elise Knox, City Aquatics Manager, was concerned that the exposed metal would eventually rust and pose a safety hazard to their guests … not to mention its unsightly appearance. This is not an uncommon situation for most municipalities as most OEM’s of aquatic play structures do not use high-performance chlorine resistant paint. After checking references and meeting on-site with Water Slide Solutions, SlideCare Certified Applicator, Elise selected SlideCare over other companies based on their references, work quality, proprietary surface prep / 3 coat offshore platform paint system, warranty and ability to perform the work within their tight budget. The Colony www.ci.the-colony.tx.us was recognized in Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Sportstown for the state of Texas in 2003. |

CITY OF LAKEWAY – Texas – November 2010
Located in the heart of the city, the Lakeway Swim Center installed 2 outdoor water slides about 5 years ago to expand the amenities of this small town. Over the years, the intense heat of the Texas sun has caused these fiberglass gel-coat slides to prematurely fade. UV rays are deadly to gel-coat because it causes a chemical reaction which breaks down the styrene and inorganic pigments contained in the gel-coat. Jessica Blair, Aquatics Manager, contacted SlideCare because she didn’t want to put the same coating on the slides and have them fail in another 5 years or less (gel-coat installed in the field is not the same gel-coat that is applied under factory controlled conditions by the OEM). Because she didn’t want to change the aquatic theme, she selected our Moody Blue off of our standard color chart. Water Slide Solutions, our certified applicator, recoated the slide well within their shutdown window. |

RESIDENTIAL CONCRETE SLIDE – Macedonia, Ohio – August 2010
Frustrated by having to re-paint his 25 foot residential concrete water slide each year with an epoxy paint recommended by the pool construction company, the owner decided to look for another alternative on the internet and found SlideCare, LLC. Our Certified Applicator, SlidePros in Avon, Ohio, personally delivered the SlideRenu ® coatings and assisted the owner with the prep and application steps at no additional charge. The owner said, “the slide looks better than it did when it was brand new and it is much more slippery.” Epoxy coatings chalk and quickly discolor causing riders to get held up in the ride path. Since it is chemically impossible for SlideRenu® coatings to chalk and the fact that they are hydrophobic (resist water), SlideRenu® coatings give the rider the same thrill and excitement they experienced on their first ride down the slide when it was brand new! |

GWINNETT COUNTY – Georgia – May 2010
The County Parks and Recreation department selected SlideCare, LLC to refinish 4 slides at three of their most prestigious aquatic recreation centers; Bogan, Rhodes Jordan and Collins Hill. Gwinnett County was recently recognized as the Best Run Park Departments by the Georgia Parks & Recreation Association. We were very grateful to be selected by Gwinnett County as their slide restoration vendor and stayed committed through the entire project, despite numerous project coordination delays and inclement weather. The 20 year old Bogan Aquatic Center indoor slide was transformed from a dull pale green to a vibrant wet look blue and top coated with our Clear Shield fortified with Teflon to reduce scale build-up that typically develops more aggressively with indoor slides due to humidity. The outdoor slides at Rhodes Jordon and Collins Hill were coated with similar colors to preserve the existing water park theme. We look forward to working with this prestigious Park and Recreation Department on future water slide restoration projects. |

| WATERBOM – Kuta-Bali, Indonesia – November 2009
The Waterbom, Bali water slides slice through 3.8 hectares of landscaped tropical parks and is home to 16 waterslides. The general manager of this first class water park in Indonesia - www.waterbom-bali.com - contacted SlideRenu® to request a comprehensive master restoration plan only one year after a local contractor on the island painted several of their slides with an epoxy paint. Due to the lack of effective UV blockers in epoxy paints, the slides showed severe signs of color fading, chipping and oxidation. SlideRenu® was selected because it is the only coating in the aquatics industry that has been specifically formulated for color faded water slides. With labor rates significantly lower in Indonesia, Waterbom decided to purchase the coatings from SlideRenu® and have them oversee the application. “The results were incredible, and the way SlideCare worked closely with our maintenance staff showing them how to prep the surface and spray the coatings was just amazing.
